Applications
They are used to degas copper and nickel alloys before deoxidizing. 1 or 2 sleeves are used per 100 kg of molten metal. The sleeve is inserted into the bottom of the metal and by means of a bubbling, it mechanically drags the gases towards the surface of the bath.
