Description
Inoculant based on Calcium and Barium, which contains up to 1.3% Barium, up to 1.3% Calcium and 72-77% Silicon. It is presented in the granulometry 0.2-0.6 mm and 0.4-3.2 mm. It is supplied in bags for 30 Kg
Applications
It is used in Gray and Nodular Foundry. It improves the inoculating effect and avoids the attenuation. It is special for pieces of thin thicknesses. It generates a high initial value of nucleation points, so it is very good for use in spoon, in a percentage of 0.2 to 0.6%. It generates a low level of slag. Barium inoculants are suitable for long solidification times.
