Applications
It is used in the manufacture of molds and cores in all types of casting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Its main characteristics are: Low emission of odors Easy desarenado Good resistance in hot Suitable for any type of foundry sand Nitrogen free.
The main physical characteristics are: Viscosity at 20ºC Ford Cup Nº4: 25-70 seconds Density at 20ºC: 1,22-1,27 grs / cm3 Solids: 54-60% ph: 12-14 Gel time: 9-13 minutesThe percentage to use ranges between 1.3 and 2% with respect to the weight of the sand, depending on the particle size.
Mixing form: first the Catalyst (23 to 25% with respect to the weight of the Resin) is added to the sand and mixed for 2 minutes. Resin is then added (1.3-2% with respect to the weight of the sand) and mixed 2 more minutes.
