MAS (Dry Wearable Material) for the assembly of steel melting furnaces “Calderys” brand. It is provided in 25 kg bags.
Applications
Material based on Corundum-Magnesite (chemical analysis: Alumina: 84% – Magnesium Oxide: 14%) commonly called neutral. It is for use exclusively in Aceros.Temp.maxima recommended: 1,800ºC. Maximum grain size: 6 mm. The form of installation is vibration in dry or tamped. It is essential to avoid the presence of moisture and segregation during installation. The main objective is to obtain a coating that is impermeable to liquid metal and that is resistant to slag attack.
