Dense regular dense concrete brand “Calderys” for foundry furnaces. It is provided in 25 kg bags.
Applications
Bauxite-based material (chemical analysis: Alumina: 80%, Silica: 10%, Calcium oxide: 6%). It is for use in foundry and steel ovens (after demolishing the previous coating). Maximum recommended temperature: 1,600 ºC. Maximum grain size: 1 mm. It is mixed with drinking water in a proportion of 11 to 17% of water. It is essential for the good performance of this material to strictly respect the proportion of water required. The walls of the oven must be perfectly smoothed and there must be no cracks. To dry the enduid, heat 20-25ºC per hour up to 400ºC. Keep at 400ºC until the humidity is eliminated.
